Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 June 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Erapse at erapse.com, including its calculators, converters, browser utilities, directories, examples and educational guides. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

These Terms should be read with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. Questions may be sent to info@erapse.com.

1. The Erapse service

Erapse provides free informational tools for calculations and everyday tasks. Examples include finance estimates, tax and GST calculations, health indicators, age and date calculations, work-hour totals, unit conversions, JSON formatting, text utilities and browser-based document conversion. Guides explain formulas, examples, assumptions, common mistakes and related topics.

The website may be changed, corrected, expanded, restricted or discontinued at any time. A page title or category does not mean that Erapse is licensed to provide professional services in that field.

2. Eligibility and acceptance

You may use Erapse only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. A parent or guardian should supervise use by a child who cannot enter a binding agreement. By continuing to access the website, you confirm that your use is permitted under the laws and rules that apply to you.

3. Educational and estimation purposes

Erapse results and articles are provided for general education, estimation, comparison and planning. They are not financial, investment, lending, accounting, tax, legal, medical, fitness, employment or other professional advice. They do not create a professional-client relationship, approve a loan, diagnose a condition, prepare an official return or guarantee eligibility for a benefit.

Important decisions should be checked against current official documents and, where appropriate, reviewed by a qualified professional. Relevant sources may include a lender's written offer, government notification, tax portal, employer policy, payslip, invoice, medical guidance, product specification or contract.

4. Inputs, formulas and results

You are responsible for selecting the correct tool, entering accurate inputs, using consistent units and understanding the assumptions shown on the page. An apparently small input error can materially change a result. Percentages, monthly and annual rates, inclusive and exclusive tax values, dates, rounding methods and unit conversions require particular care.

We work to make formulas and explanations useful, but do not promise that every result is error-free, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. Official calculations may apply thresholds, exemptions, compounding methods, fees, dates, rounding rules, medical context or policy conditions that a general calculator does not include.

5. Rules, rates and time-sensitive content

Tax slabs, GST classifications, interest rates, contribution limits, employment rules, medical guidance and provider policies can change. A year in a page title describes the intended topic or edition; it is not a guarantee that every rule remains current on the date you visit. Verify time-sensitive information with the relevant authority before relying on it.

6. Browser tools and files

Web Tools process text, data or files using browser capabilities and third-party software libraries. You are responsible for having the right to use the input, checking the output, keeping backups and deciding whether the result is suitable for its intended destination. Do not use the website as the only copy of an important file.

Large, damaged, encrypted, unusual or unsupported files may fail, consume significant memory or produce incomplete output. Formatting and conversion can change metadata, image quality, text layout or application compatibility. Always open and review a generated file before deleting the source or submitting the output elsewhere.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use Erapse lawfully and in a way that does not damage the website or interfere with other users. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, server, code or connected services.
  • Introduce malware, harmful scripts, automated attacks or excessive requests.
  • Bypass security, rate limits, access controls or technical restrictions.
  • Use tools to create, transform or distribute unlawful or infringing material.
  • Misrepresent Erapse output as an official certificate, approval, diagnosis or professional opinion.
  • Scrape or reproduce substantial parts of the website in a way that harms normal operation or substitutes for Erapse.
  • Use the website to violate privacy, intellectual-property or other rights.

8. Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, Erapse owns or licenses the website's original design, branding, explanatory text, page organization and source materials. Third-party libraries, icons, fonts, names and trademarks remain subject to their respective owners' rights and licences.

You may use the public tools for personal, educational and internal business calculations. You may quote a short portion of an article with fair attribution and a link where permitted by law. You may not republish complete articles, copy the site design, remove ownership notices, sell mirrored pages, or present Erapse content as your own without written permission.

9. User responsibility

You remain responsible for decisions, filings, invoices, payments, health actions, contracts and records made using a result. Keep the original inputs and official source material when the calculation matters. Erapse is not a record-keeping, filing, banking, medical or document-certification service.

10. Advertising and third-party services

Erapse may display advertisements and may load analytics, fonts, icons, code libraries or other resources from third parties. Advertisements are supplied by advertising providers and do not necessarily represent an endorsement by Erapse. A third party's terms and privacy policy govern your interaction with that party.

We are not responsible for the availability, claims, products, pricing, security, content or practices of external websites. Review a destination before entering information, downloading software, making a purchase or relying on its content.

11. No warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Erapse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make warranties that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, free from errors, compatible with every device, or fit for every intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Erapse and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or business losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website. This includes losses connected with incorrect inputs, calculation differences, outdated rules, missed deadlines, file conversion, data loss, third-party services or decisions made from an estimate.

Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions or limitations. In those places, the limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law. These Terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Availability, maintenance and access

The website may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, hosting problems, security events, network conditions or circumstances outside our control. We may restrict automated traffic, remove problematic content, change a feature or block access that threatens security or violates these Terms.

14. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains calculator inputs, local browser storage, analytics, advertising and technical information. You should not enter confidential identifiers, account credentials or unnecessary sensitive records into general calculator fields.

15. Reporting errors

If you identify a broken tool, calculation issue, inaccurate statement or security concern, email info@erapse.com with the page URL, inputs used, expected result and a clear description. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, identity documents or confidential records.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Changes apply from publication to subsequent use of the website. If a change is not acceptable, stop using Erapse.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply in another jurisdiction. Courts with lawful jurisdiction under the applicable rules may hear disputes. Before starting formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact Erapse and provide a reasonable opportunity to review the issue.

18. Severability and no waiver

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

19. Entire understanding

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, form the general understanding between you and Erapse regarding website use. Page-specific notices and limitations also apply to the relevant calculator or tool.

20. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be sent to info@erapse.com.
