Monument, beautiful as Taj Mahal
Tomb of Sher Shah Suri is situated in Sasaram, Bihar. This tomb was build in memory of Sher Shah Suri, A greatest Emperor from Bihar. He defeated Mughals (Humayun) and he is founder of Suri Dynasty in india. His real name was Farid and he was a afgani musliem.
He is a very great emperor and famous for his administration. His death was an accident in Quila of Kalinjar due to gunpowder explosion. Then Tomb of Sher Shah Suri was build.
Some of historian Says it is beautiful as Taj Mahal. A very less famous but very beautiful Tomb.
His designer was Alawal Khan. His tomb is an example of Indo-islamic architecture. Material which was used in tomb is sandstone .
This tomb is represented very classy piece of afgan architecture in India. It is a imposing brick structure.The interior of tomb is sufficiently ventilated and lighted through large window.
